“First Kicks” Stage 1: Active start

“Fun with the Ball” Stage 2: FUNdamentals

For who:  U4 to U9 Boys & Girls Mix

Why: Early opportunities to learn basic football techniques

Syllabus: Physical literacy, multi skills, development of balance, co-ordination and agility.  Development of Social Skills in line with Long Term Player Development model (LTPD) within a fun and inclusive environment facilitated by licensed UEFA and Canadian Soccer Association coaches (CSA).  The syllabus will include 3v3 games to ensure children have plenty of opportunity for discovery and be creative to develop individual possession technique/skills.  Progression updates will be provided to parents at the end of each block of work using the CSA LTPD model as framework for formative assessment.

When:  Block 1: Friday Sept 22nd to Friday 8th Dec 2017 – 10 weeks (No sessions Oct 6th or Nov 10th)

Block 2: Friday Jan 5th to Friday Feb 22nd 2018 – 8 weeks

Time: 5-6pm

Advanced Development Centre

“Golden Age of Learning”

Stage 3: Learning to Train

For who:  U8 to U11 – Female

                   U9 to U12 – Male

Why: Enhance physical literacy, individual ball possession and skill.

Syllabus: Designed to develop players across the CSA LTPD model highlighting individual strengths and areas for improvement.  UEFA and CSA licensed coaches will design practice/games that are relevant and realistic facilitated within fun inclusive environments. The syllabus will include 4v4 to 8v8 games to ensure children have plenty of opportunity for discovery and be creative to develop individual possession techniques/skills.  Progression updates will be provided to parents at the end of each block of work using the CSA LTPD model as framework for formative assessment.

When: Block 1: Friday Sept 22nd to Friday 8th Dec 2017 – 10 weeks (No sessions Oct 6th or Nov 10th)

Block 2: Friday Jan 5th to Friday Feb 22nd 2018 – 8 weeks

Elite Teams Program

“Identifying the Elite Player”

Stage 4: Training to Train

For who:  U13 to U15 – Female

                   U13 to U16 – Male

Why: Enrichment and development of Individual – Unit – Team strengths in-line with attacking and defending principles of play.

Syllabus: Designed to develop players across the CSA LTPD model highlighting individual strengths and areas for improvement.  UEFA and CSA licensed coaches will design practice/games that are relevant and realistic facilitated within an engaging competitive environment.  The syllabus will include position, unit and formation specific practices to ensure players enhance their super strengths with in elite competition.  Progression updates will be provided to parents at the end of each block of work using the CSA LTPD and the Human Code FC player mentoring model.

When: Block 1: Friday Sept 22nd to Friday 8th Dec 2017 – 10 weeks (No sessions Oct 6th or Nov 10th)

Block 2: Friday Jan 5th to Friday Feb 22nd 2018 – 8 weeks

Super Elite Player Performance Program (SEPPP)

“Developing the Elite Player”

Stage 5: Training to Compete

For who:  U15 to U19 – Female

                   U13 to U18 – Male

  • Playing in BCSPL or Metro League

Why: Enrichment and development of individual super strengths, position & formation specific, opportunity for players to refine decision making skills on, around and away from the ball.

Syllabus: Designed to develop players within the tactical and psychological corners of LTPD.   UEFA and CSA licensed coaches will design practice/games which will enhance mental skills such as Confidence, Commitment, Control, Concentration and Communication.  The syllabus will include position, unit and formation specific practices to ensure players enhance their super strengths with in an elite environment.  Progression updates will be provided to parents at the end of each block of work using the CSA LTPD and the Human Code FC player mentoring model.
